Privacy & SMS
Privacy Policy
How we handle your information and what to expect from our text messages.
Effective date: September 30, 2026. This policy covers information collected by Bowsher IT Solutions LLC through bowsherit.com, customer inquiries, and our SMS service communications.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, subject, and message. Our contact form sends your inquiry to our team by email. Please provide only the information needed for your inquiry.
Our website and server may also process IP addresses, browser and device details, pages viewed, submission times, and security logs. Cookies and website usage information support site operation and analytics, subject to available cookie controls and applicable settings. For SMS communications, we process your mobile number, message content, delivery information, and consent or opt-out records.
When you schedule a computer drop-off, we collect your name, telephone number, description of the issue, and chosen appointment date and time. These details are stored in private website appointment records and added to our Microsoft 365 shared calendar so our team can prepare for your visit and contact you about your computer. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in your notes. Booking an appointment does not opt you in to text messages.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide requested IT services and support, coordinate appointments, send service updates, maintain business and consent records, and operate and protect our website. We retain inquiry and communication information as needed for these purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Service providers and information sharing
Providers supporting our website, email, analytics, and communications may process information as needed to provide those services on our behalf. RingCentral and telecommunications carriers may process mobile numbers, message content, and delivery details to provide our text messaging service. This service processing does not authorize providers to use your SMS consent for their own messaging or marketing.
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers for third-party marketing or promotional purposes. Any other information sharing described in this policy excludes mobile opt-in information and text message consent.
SMS Terms & Conditions
If you consent to receive SMS from Bowsher IT Solutions LLC, you may receive conversational and informational messages about your inquiries, IT support requests, appointment coordination, and updates about your requested services.
You can opt in using the optional SMS consent checkbox on our contact form or another method in which you specifically agree to receive these messages. If you text us first, we may respond to that conversation. Submitting an inquiry or providing a telephone number alone does not authorize SMS messages. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless provider’s rates apply to messages sent and received.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages at any time. You may receive a single confirmation of your opt-out request, after which further SMS messages will stop unless you opt in again.
Reply HELP for assistance. You can also email info@bowsherit.com or call 574-870-1234. Please contact us directly if you need help with a messaging preference.
Your choices and privacy questions
You may contact us to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can manage available website cookie preferences through the site’s cookie controls. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date here.

Additional website features
The following website information applies when the described features are used. The SMS consent protections above apply throughout this policy.
This policy describes how Bowsher IT Solutions handles information collected through this website.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.bowsherit.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
